Peter Alex Hoffman was born on his Grandfather's farm on June 5, 1934. When Peter was around five years old the family moved to Red Cross, SK, where he took six years of education and then quit school to farm with his dad. In November 1968, he married Helen and they started farming on their own and raised three children, Judy, Gordon and Robbie. Over the years Peter farmed, trapped, worked on the rigs, cut pulp, fished, hunted and partied. On one cold morning in 1994 he decided he'd had enough and the farm was sold. They travelled for a bit and then moved to Chetwynd where he told Helen that he supported them for over 25 years and now it was her turn. With Helen at work, Peter renovated the trailer they had bought and looked after their foster children having taken in 22 in total over the years. Later they moved to St. Paul and then to Marwayne. Peter liked to travel, and they took trips to Mexico, Alaska, the East and West Coasts, and their last trip was to visit friends in Manitoba in 2019. Peter was always busy and enjoyed his garden/orchard but more than anything he enjoyed his family and grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
He is predeceased by: his son, Robbie; his mother, Katherine; his father, Toni; his brothers, Tony and Frank; and his nephew, Frank.
