Derrik James Stick

Derrik James Stick was born March 27, 1966 in Goodsoil, Saskatchewan to Elsie and William Stick. He was the 2nd son born to them. Derrik had many interests throughout his 58 years of life. He was raised with traditional values and carried them with him throughout his life. He enjoyed playing sports, hunting and working with horses in his younger years. He was always a hard-working man. He was a jack of all trades. Derrik grew up and spent most of his life living in Mudie Lake. He was a very kind and generous man. He loved his family very much. Derrik had many friends all over and made many lasting friendships throughout his travels. He will be missed by all who loved and cherished him.

Derrik was pre-deceased by his parents: William and Elise Stick, sister: Doreen (Stick) Dillion, brother: Alfred Kapechoose, sons: Dedrick Stick and Matthew Thomas, grandparents: Alex and Mary Stick, and James and Elice Crookedneck granddaughter: Gina Chief and Carlee Singer, nephews: Markcus and Cory

Derrick is survived by his children: Dinah, Grace, Daylor, Samuel, Joshua White, step children: Rose, Angel, Stuart, Brad, Markell, daughter in law: Raquel, grandchildren: Elise, Hunter, Tracee, James, Serenity, Harmony, brothers: Wilfred, Dennis, Clifford, sisters: Dorothy, Freda, Barbara, Brenda, Aunties: Dorothy and Bernice Crookedneck, and 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and Nieces and Nephews

A Funeral Service for Derrik will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Mudie Lake Hall, with interment to follow at Mudie Lake Cemetery.
