Zachary Keegan Bearboy

March 8, 2005 ~ April 13, 2022 (age 17)


Zachary Keegan Bearboy was born March 8, 2005 to Monica and Kenny Lapratt.  He was Monica's 4th child, and had seven siblings.  When Zachary was small he went to live with his grandmother, Sheila, until her passing. She was a big part of his childhood, and he became very attached to her.  When Sheila passed away, Zachary then went to live with his mother, step-dad and four brothers in Chitek Lake.  He attended Chamakase School and then Pelican Lake School, and then he studied online.  Zachary was very kind and respected everyone.  He was quiet and kept to himself and enjoyed drawing and studying.
Zachary is survived by: his mother, Monica Grace Abbott; his step-dad, Walter Jack Abbott; his siblings, Marcus, Lucus and Abel, Shawn, Sara, Joshua, John, Erica, Lucas, and Kenny Jr.; his father, Kenny Lapratt; his step-sisters, Jennifer, Mary and Breanna; and his uncles and aunts, Melvin and Alycia Cardinal, Carlos Sakebow, his grandparents, Ida Sakebow, Flora Bearboy, Elsie Bearboy, Hannah Bearboy, Lorne Sakebow and Priscilla Sakebow; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.
He is predeceased by: his grandparents, John Sakebow, Sheila Sakebow, Peter Sakebow, Theresa Sakebow and Louie Sakebow, Victoria Lass, Barbara Sakebow; his father, Kenny Lapratt; his great grandparents, Tom Sakebow and Maryanne Bear; his step-grandparents, Doris and Edem Abbott; his aunties, Alycia (Melvin), Lorna (Scott), and Rhonda; his uncle, Shawn Sakebow; and his cousin, Connor Cardinal.
