Weston Theodore Hannis was born sleeping on March 27, 2021, at 6:36pm to his parents Darren and Casey Hannis. He weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces and was 19 ¾ inches long. Even though we never heard him cry, or knew the colour of his eyes, he was incredibly loved. We only had 9 short months with him, but those 9 months were filled with excitement, anticipation, and dreams of a future with our little cowboy. We had a feeling he already loved cattle as much as his parents did, because of all the kicks and wiggles we felt when we would go out to feed them.
Weston is lovingly survived and deeply missed by his parents: Darren and Casey Hannis. His grandparents: Theodore and Lynda Hannis, and Rene and Patricia Chalut. His aunts and uncles: Evan Chalut, Fred and Laurie Pynn, Bryce and Allison Medin and his cousins Masen and Strome Medin.
We would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us in this terrible time and the love and support that we have received has been amazing. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by an amazing community, friends and family. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital maternity ward for everything that they have done for us, and for treating us with such compassion and respect.
Weston, you will forever be in our hearts. Words cannot describe how much we love you and miss you. We hope that God has a special little pony and a good dog waiting for you up in Heaven. Rest in peace our little cowboy.
