Wayne William Karst

Wayne William Karst passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021 at the age of 76.  His greatest passions of fishing and hunting were enjoyed with a large extended family and many good friends.   He had a great appreciation and understanding of nature and animals.  He enjoyed many a game of Kaiser.  One of his favorite Kaiser phrases was “a King is as good as an Ace” was often said with a Pilsner in hand.   

Wayne was a loving son to Vera; brother to Ron; and brother-in-law to Joan. He was a loving father to his daughter, Angela; and son, Dan; a caring father-in-law to Martin (Angela), and Shawna (Dan); a doting grandpa to Cole (Dan), Ayden (Angela), Coda (Dan) and Bennet (Angela); and an adoring uncle to Justin, Shane, and numerous grand-nephews and grand-nieces.  Wayne was also very fortunate to have many dear friends and extended family whom he deeply cared for.  Wayne lived his life to the fullest to the end. 

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations would be made to the Lakeland Lodge, Box 339, St. Walburg, SK, S0M 2T0. 

A shindig of his life, in “Wayne style”, will be scheduled this summer once health restrictions are eased.
