Virginia Wolfe (Nisotewsko) was born in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan to Betsy Whiteface and David Wolfe. Virginia was also a twin. Her passion in life was the well being and upbringing of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, in whom she instilled her teachings and values. She truly enjoyed taking her grandchildren and chapans for walks. When she was able to visit family and friends, she'd enjoy her time. She never said any harsh words, but words of wisdom when needed to guide her family. When younger, she attended cultural events as much as she could, she enjoyed berry picking, and medicine picking, it was her passion. She had a big heart and always opened the door for strangers to help in anyway she could. In fact, she ended up adopting a few! There are so many good things to share about our Mom/Kokom but for now, we will all leave it in our hearts to share when we can.
Virginia was predeceased by: her spouse, Patrick Bighead (1965); her parents, Betsy Whiteface, and David Wolfe; her twin brother, Alexan Wolfe (1927); her children, Flora Wolfe, Anna Wolfe (2012), and Norman Wolfe (2010); her siblings, Josephine Pahtayken (2013), Joe Wolfe, and Caroline Opissinow; her aunts, Mary Starr, and Katherine Wolfe; and her great grandson, Yvon Wolfe (2020).
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Wolfe, Elmer Wolfe, Lorna (Rena) Wolfe, Dennis Wolfe, Wayne Wolfe, and Gilbert Wolfe; and her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, too numerous to mention; and many other relatives and friends.
