Victor McClellan Obituary

Victor Alfred McClellan was born on May 24, 1937 in his family home to Bessie Mae (Craig) and Reginald Wesley McClellan.  He was born on Victoria Day and that is how he got his name. He grew up on the farm with his two siblings, Shirley and Rodney and his cousin Wayne. He took all his schooling at the Kilronan School. When he was a young man he worked as a farm hand in the Fort Pitt District and in his Uncle’s store in Pierceland, before travelling to B.C in the fall of 1959 to work in a sawmill and planer mill. He would return every spring to work on his aunt’s (Margaret Sim) farm.  On June 30, 1967 he married the love of his life, Doreen Sauvie and they had two children, Cheryl and Marvis. He had a small cattle farm and drove bus in Fort Pitt/Frenchman Butte area until he retired. He enjoyed fiddling music, boxing, cheering against the New York Yankees, watching his son/grandchildren play hockey and ball, and being busy on the farm.
He is predeceased by: his loving wife ,Doreen (2012); his mother Bessie Mae (2006); and     his father, Reginald (1943).
Victor leaves to mourn his passing: his daughter Cheryl McClellan, and her children Dustin (Krista), Keith, Carrie (Hank) and their children Joelliam, Alexander, Dreadyn, Jocelyn, and Bronson and Deanna (John); his son, Tudd (Carrie) and family, Camden, Paxson and Ainsley; his sister, Shirley (Darrell) Winder; his brother; Rodney (Gloria); his cousin Wayne (Trev) Sim; and numerous nieces and nephews.
