Tracey was born in Loon Lake on May 21, 1980, he was the second son of five born to Elsie Bearboy and (late) James Mistickokat. Tracey was raised and schooled in Waterhen Lake, SK. He started training at NWRC traveling from home to Meadow Lake everyday. Tracey met Charlene and moved to Meadow Lake. They started a family and had four daughters. Tracey worked for MLTC as a heavy equipment mechanic for the next 5 years. Later he met Rodene, and they had two boys, Roderick, and Jayce. He moved to Lac La Piche where he continued working doing what he loved. Tracey moved back to Meadow Lake and continued working for Waterhen forestry until he became ill. He lived a simple life and loved a simple way of living. His family, his children, and his friends were all foremost in his life.
Tracey leaves behind: his children, Keisha, Alexis, Toni, Nikki, Roderick, and Jayce; his grandchildren, Malakai, Kendall, and Dakota; his brothers, Travais (Kimberly), Marcel (Nancy), Marcus (Michelle), and Jamie; his mother, Elsie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family.
He is predeceased by: his father, James Mistickokat (2015); his cousins, Terry, and Riley; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and numerous other relatives, too many to mention.
