Toby Joel Montana

Toby was born on September 7, 2007 in Lloydminster, SK to Gregory William Montana (Raelene Lewis) and Charlene Wright (Jim Smith).

Gregory and Raelene met in 2011 and together they raised their six children Pierre, Raelynn, Toby, Madison, Colby and Isiah. Toby was surely a one of a kind. He was fun loving, happy, athletic, handsome and joyful. He loved making people laugh. His favorite sports were basketball and volleyball. “He was a baller” and was given the opportunity to attend several tournaments, such as playing in Seattle with Rustlers basketball. He played in Halifax with NAIG volleyball, Men's Barons and Border Cree basketball. His plan for the future was to play college basketball. He would train with his brother Pierre with the support of his parents who were always on the sidelines cheering for him. There was never a day that Toby wasn’t being his goofy outgoing self, his personality welcomed everyone. His smile, laughter and love will be missed.

His paternal grandmother, Rosie Montana and maternal grandmothers/kokum's, Rosalie Wright, Betty (Ronnie) Lewis. His aunties and uncles; William Lee Wright, Adrianne Montana, Samantha (Mick) Montana-Lang, Valerie Montana, Matthew (Katelind) Naistus, Dale Wright, Donald (Donna), Glen (Carol), Steven (Rosa), Sherry (Leon), Caroline (Cameron), Marsha (James), Serena, Rhonda (Jason), Randall (Lianna), Delphina, Leanne (Garry), Valene (Adrian), Renee (Lee), and Randi (Randall).

Toby was predeceased by his older brother Tanner; uncle William Lee Wright; paternal great-grandparents James Montana (2000) and Emily Montana (1982); maternal great-grandparents Sophie and George Weeseekase, great-grandparents Joey and Kathleen Wright; Mosom's Clifford Clavin, Jerome and Elcid.
