Steven Walter Oswell (36) was born June 24, 1985. He was adopted into the Oswell family at 6 weeks of age. He was raised on the farm in Hillmond, SK., and attended Hillmond School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and quadding with his friends and family. Steven was a hard worker and had numerous jobs. He assembled grain bins and was a tire tech man at Civic Tire.
Steven met the love of his life, Janine, in 2013. Then shortly after that he had his tragic accident. This never slowed him down. His life changed drastically but he had Janine by his side through it all. They made a life together, and though they didn't have any biological children, they raised 3 children together. Steven was a loving husband and a devoted father; he was also a father figure to his nieces and nephews, that he loved so dearly. Steven had a big heart. He was a caring and selfless man.
Steven was a funny guy and always made jokes, he would talk "Cree" and "dance powwow" in his own Steven-way. He was strong and resilient and he was a proud mosom. Steven impacted all of our lives and we will always miss him.
