Steven Allan Ochipwao

  Steven Ochipwao was born and raised in Thunderchild, SK, to Ernest and Harriette Ochipwao.  Steven had a great joy for horses and he was and active member of the Cowboy Society.  He would travel to various communities to participate in trail rides. Steven enjoyed visiting with family and friends especially his great-granddaughter. Steven was a respected elder who participated in cultural ceremonies and passed on protocol to younger generations.
   He is predeceased by:  his wife , Cecile; his only daughter, Elaine; his parents, Ernest and Harriette Ochipwao; his sisters, Elsie , Julia  and Edith and her family; his brother, Henry; his nephew, Clifford; his nieces, Nora, Marlene and Freda; his  grandsons, Howard Okanee II, Mark Okanee and Jerry Dillon; his granddaughters, Mellisa Okanee and Leona Jimmy; his great-grandsons, Creedence, Mitchell and Tristan; his great-granddaughter, Gracie; and his son-in-law, Daniel Ermine.
   Steven is survived by:  his son, Richard (Mary Rose); his grandchildren, Jason, Jodi, Tracy, Sunshine, Danielle, Jamie and Tyrone; 22 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 very special great-granddaughter, Tyra; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren too many to name.
