Sidney grew up in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan, was born to Elwood Harper and Mary Grace Littlewolfe, and was raised by his dad, Brian MacDonald. Sidney attended the R.C. Day School, then moved to Chief Taylor School. Sidney later moved to North Battleford where he worked in construction, primarily in the roofing industry. He met and married Janeen Standingwater and they had six beautiful children. Sidney was a very loving man and dearly loved his wife and all his children and grandchildren.
Sidney was a kind, gentle and very expressive man which came out in his humor. He was extremely patient, very outgoing and loved to joke and laugh. He really had a way with words. He loved sports, more so hockey, and especially his Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Sid is survived by: his wife, Janeen (Standingwater) Littlewolfe; her children, Blain Many Wounds, Monty Bear, Lenex Littlewolfe, Tyrell Littlewolfe, Conner Kahpeaysewat, Shaniel Littlewolfe, Sidney Littlewolfe Jr., Trent Littlewolfe, and Darlene Littlewolfe; his sister, Vanessa MacDonald; his brother, Derek Harper; his aunt, Sara Harper; his nieces, Tawny, McKenna and Maran MacDonald; his nephew, Lanny MacDonald; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Sid is predeceased by: his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Louie Harper; his father, Elwood Harper; his mother, Mary Grace MacDonald; his sister, Cindy Harper; and his paternal uncles, Arnold Harper, Lesley Harper, Richard Harper, Emery Harper; his paternal aunt, Shirley Harper.
