Roy Edward Crookedneck, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, choochum, and chapan. Roy dedicated his time to family and friends. He was quite the jokester, always kept those around him laughing, either in person or on "The Facebook", as he would call it. Roy was a kind and welcoming man with a heart of gold. He made a friend of every person he encountered, he never met a stranger. Roy was always up for an adventure, he enjoyed travelling and his favourite place to visit was the mountains. Roy had a passion for, and was super proud of the ACE Racing Team. He would assist and help prepare horses at almost all of their meets. At an early age, Roy was a very hard worker. He was a jack of all trades, but the one he liked most was Heavy Equipment Operator. This was something he enjoyed his entire life, right up until his last days. Roy was a cowboy king for the Ministikwan Rounddance Society for numerous years. Some of his other hobbies were horse-shoe tournaments, cards, sequence, and other activities he could play. Towards the end of his life, he accepted the Heavenly Father back into his life.
Roy was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Maggie Crookedneck; his baby girl, "Percy" Priscilla Crookedneck (2018); and his siblings, Maria Crookedneck (1989), Rema Crookedneck (1989), and Madeline Crookedneck (2019).
He leaves to mourn: his loving wife of 36 years, Marlene; his children, Celeste, Lindsay (Adrian), Dustin (Kristin), Tiffany (Myles), Sharlyn (Neil), Tanya, and Roy; his 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; numerous adopted children; his siblings, Lawrence (Nancy), Ronnie (Pauline), Elmer (Nicole), Violet, Leslie (Colleen), and numerous nieces, nephews, adopted children, and other relatives.
