Richard Littlewolf Obituary

Richard Littlewolf was born in Lloydminster, SK.  He was also known as Mistapew.  He grew up in Onion Lake Cree Nation, and attended St. Anthony's IRS for five years, and Labrett IRS for an additional two years.  He became the first native welder by trade to work in Universal Industries in Lloydminster. Richard was a kind, considerate, humble man.  He was a terrific daddy to his kids, and all of his grandkids.  He always put everyone ahead of himself, no matter who it was.  He was a spiritually minded person, and enjoyed learning about his culture.  Richard was a great man, he took pride in his appearance, he was, after all, Elvis Presley's half brother (jokes).  He was also the rez taxi, sometimes for free or on charge, actually from the kindness of his heart.  He was not selfish and had a great sense of humour.  Richard was compassionate and attended many wakes and funerals.  He had a great imagination as a child and was very gifted.  He loved his brothers and sisters so very much, and never took anyone or anything for granted.
He is predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Littlewolfe and Isabelle Pitchow; his siblings, Bruno Littlewolfe, Alexander (Buck) Littlewolfe, Lawrence Jonas Littlewolfe (2020), Joseph  Henry Littlewolfe (2021), and Linda Chief; and his sons, Patrick Littlewolfe (1995), and Kevin Littlewolfe (2019).
Richard leaves to mourn: his children, Charlotte Littlewolf, and Philip Littlewolfe; his grandchildren, Samuel Littlewolfe (Abralee), Skye Littlewolfe (Kaylee), Summer Littlewolfe (Kyle), Darian Frantik, Patrick Waskewitch, Kreshall Waskewitch, and Ranayah Waskewitch, Carnell Gray, Piersyn Moosomin, and Presley Moosomin; his siblings, Cecilia Littlewolfe (Leslie), John Donnie Littlewolf, Viginia Littlewolfe-Hunter (Dennis), Loretta (Ernest) Wolfe, Gordon (Leona) Cook; his aunties, Isabelle Littlewolfe, Maggie Redcrow, and Clara Myo; and numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and close friends.
