Merlin Crookedneck Obituary

Merlin Roland Crookedneck, our dad, husband, brother, uncle and grandfather was a very special person. As a young boy growing up  with his parents and siblings, farming was his passion. Merlin became a hard working man and father who was always willing to help those in need. In dad’s spare time, he enjoyed playing slo-pitch with his family - playing with many cousins, uncles and was often accompanied by his wife and children. Dad was a fire fighter and seasonal harvester in the recent years. This allowed him to use his skills to supply wood to many families in the cold months and during many services. He was known in his community to be available when anyone had vehicle problems or was stranded and needed a ride home.
He was predeceased by: his mother, Virginia Harriet Crookedneck (Brownhat); his grandparents, Pierre (1986) and Louisa (1952) Crookedneck; his uncle, Burton Crookedneck; his aunt, Justina Cantre; his sisters, Norma Crookedneck (1961) and Emily Crookedneck  (2017); his nephews, Chad Crookedneck (2004), Keeley Crookedneck (2009), and Lawrence Crookedneck (2014); his nieces, Della Crookedneck (2012), Natalie Crookedneck (2016), and Tashia Lewis (2019).
Merlin is survived by: his wife, Sarah Moccasin; his children, Shaun (Ruby), Don (Callia), Natasha (Trevor), Merlin, Marly (Harold), Tahrel and Tory; his father, Lorne (Roland) Crookedneck; his siblings, Raymond, Elizabeth (Frank), Delmar, Caroline, Irene and Valerie Mitsuing; his 19 beautiful grandchildren; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
