Mary Rose Oseemeemow was born on July 5, 1954 to Dan and Babe Bighead in Big Island Lake. She resided in Big Island and eventually moved to Saskatoon to persue her dream of becoming a teacher. She later moved back to teach nursery at the old school. In June of 1984, she was blessed with a son, Dedrick, who she truly adored. In her spare time you would find Mary Rose in the kitchen cooking, she loved to cook and experiment with new recipes.
She was also a very caring and loving mother to her adpoted kids, Donna and Ernest Sundown Jr., whom she raised from small children. Mary Rose loved hanging around with her friends and having a good time and she was always laughing and telling jokes.
She is predeceased by: her parents, Dan (2005) and Babe (1994); her niece, Delphine (2006); and her uncle, John Oseemeemow (2006).
Mary Rose is survived by: her son, Dedrick (Tammy); her grandchildren, Drake, Shayla, Sage and Kaleshi; her sisters, Josephine (Robert), Leona (Joe) and Bella; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
