Mark Strunk was born on August 17, 1957 in Maidstone, Saskatchewan. He grew up in a loving home with his parents and three siblings in Hillmond.

In 1967, the family moved to St. Walburg where he spent his teen years growing up.

When Mark decided to move out and experience his adult life, he worked construction in multiple cities until he finally settled down in Edmonton. This is where he spent his later years until his passing.

Mark was a magnificent fellow, he loved to laugh, meet new people and explore new restaurants. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him. He loved to help friends and family with home projects and could always be called upon, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He treated everyone he knew like family.

Uncle Mucky had a heart of gold and was a very giving and generous man. He always took pride in spoiling his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Mark/Uncle Mucky will be missed dearly for his quick wit, his love for his family and friends and his contagious laugh.

He is pre-deceased by his father; Hans. He is survived by his mother (Marlies), his three siblings; Ralf (Sally) Strunk, Rita (Danny) Showers and Robert Strunk. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Melissa (Glen) Gresty, Deanna Hanson, Crystal Showers (Titus Alcide), Chantel (Brad) Gryba, Brendan (Jennifer) Showers, Jared, Katrina and Andrea Strunk, as well as his great nieces and great nephews; Hanna (Daniel) Johnson-Gresty, Hailey Gresty (Derelle Schwandt), Jenna and Jacob Hanson, Sadie and Jordan Gryba, Emy and Blake Showers and Leo Strunk.

The funeral will be lived streamed.
