Marianne Elizabeth Dundas was born December 22, 1919 in Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. She was six months old when her family came to Canada and settled in North Battleford, SK. Marianne married Richard (Dick) Serle Dundas on July 21, 1942. In 1946, they purchased the Red and White store and moved to Paradise Hill, SK. Marianne worked in the store and post office until 1967, when she became the first teller of the Paradise Hill Credit Union. When Marianne moved into the Paradise Hill Care Home, she thoroughly enjoyed her years there and said it was the best place on earth!
She is predeceased by: her husband, Dick (1994); her son-in-law, Lyle Winder (2008); her parents, Mary and William Semple; and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Edith Semple.
Marianne is survived by: her three children, Dianne Winder, Rick Dundas (Denise), and Carolyn Gervais (Dan); her six grandchildren, Laurie Koberlin (Glenn), Rick Dundas IV (Min), Kelsi Bissonnette, Danelle Fink (Steven), Aaron Gervais (Michelle), Whitney Hougham (Justin); her 14 great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Trey and Kaden Koberlin, Liam and Sophie Bissonnette, Denira Dundas, Zandyn and Addison Fink, Blakely, Spencer, Hadley and Jax Gervais, and Saylor and Lennon Hougham.
