Margaret was born and raised in the Stowlea
District to Harold and Susie McGowan, where she met the boy across the road, they eventually were married on August 4th, 1944. Gordon and Margaret resided on the Magnuson homestead where they farmed and raised their son Dennis. Margret then moved to St. Walburg, where she did odd jobs. She spent many hours working in her yard up until she was 95 years young.
