Joshua Noon Obituary

Joshua James Noon was born in Turtleford Hospital on June 12, 1995 to Anna Marie Otteson and Dwayne Noon. He grew up in Mervin and later moved to Thunderchild, where he was brought up traditionally. He was a helper (Oskapewis) and always practiced those values and teachings.  Josh played with the Monster FC soccer team and was a big hockey fan and enjoyed skating. He grew up cheering for the Buffalo Sabres.   Josh was greatly into music, from traditional singing to a self-taught guitar player. Some of his favorite music artists were Rae Sremmurd, Aiden, Juice Wrld, Silverstein.   He enjoyed the company of friends and was there whenever they needed him. He always greeted his family with a handshake or wave lifted.  Josh was an amazing uncle and was invested in all his nieces and nephews.  Everyone who knew Josh, knew he emulated kindness and was always willing to be a jokester to make others around him feel better. Even with the adversities he endured, Josh always had a positive mindset that he would persevere. With his constant thoughts about the future Josh was always working towards something better for not only himself but for others.   Josh radiated good energy which was infectious to everyone that met him which is why he will be immensely missed by so many people.

He was predeceased by: his great grandparents, Ina and Norman Sunchild, and John Noon I and Eliza Noon; his grandfathers, John Baptiste Noon and Albert Noon; his uncles, A.J. Noon and Calvin Noon; his cousin, Patience Noon; and his nephew, Eric Wuttunee.
