Joey as most people knew him was born and raised in Edmonton, AB and lived most of his life with his dad Douglas. He recently celebrated his 34th birthday on July 1st, 2023. Joey was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He loved to sing and has many of his recordings on YouTube under “Joey Hero”. He was a very talented musician/rapper and a very hardworking man. Joey was the youngest of five siblings and he was the most lovable child. He grew up doing odd jobs and made many friends along the way. Joey was confident and adventurous. He had a beautiful smile and he knew he was a handsome man, like his Mama always told him. He liked to cook and he loved wild game. He was always asking to bring moose or deer meat. He loved his nephews and his nieces.

Joseph is predeceased by his Mosom, Samuel Paddy and his Kokum Freda Weeseekase, Thomas and Violet Evernden, Marie Noon and Ivan Goosenose.
He is Survived by
Joseph is survived by his mother Linda Weeseekase and his dad Douglas Evernden, brothers, Alex Jayar Peechow, Everette Okanee, and little brother Noah. His sisters, Candace, Louisa (Terence), LaBrea and Melissa Moccasin. His nephews Lazarus, Avery, John, Kyron, Kona, Theron, Brayden and Koa. His nieces Emry, Sierra and Callie and numerous aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, Leslie Noon and his family and many relatives. The entire Paddy, Okanee, Weeseekase families and his beloved partner Shannon Hall.
