Jolene was born to Joe and Mary Thunderchild on January 15, 1976. She was born in Lloydminster and raised in Lloydminster, Onion Lake and Thunderchild. Jolene was a very courageous, strong and fearless woman. She endured a lot of health problems but overcame them all. She graduated from Eagleview High School in Onion Lake, then moved on to convocate with a teaching degree from University of Saskatchewan. She achieved all her educational goals while enduring dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant, setting a high standard for everyone.
Jolene was a very proud mother of two children, Jaiden Jimmy and Sahkitin Stick. She was a very caring person who looked after her mom. She was a very caring and loving auntie to many people.
Jolene's friends remember her as a joyous, adventurous person who enjoyed making memories with her children, family and friends.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her parents, Joe and Mary Thunderchild; her brother, Javen (Roxanne); her children, Jaiden Jimmy (Jada), and Sahkitin Stick; her special friend, Jason Stick; and her numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and former students.
