Irene Angelina Mitsuing

  On April 20,1960, Emma Mitsuing and Louis Weenie welcomed their youngest daughter in Loon Lake, SK. She passed away beautifully with her children surrounding her on October 20, 2021. Some of her past times included playing baseball where she won the first FSIN Championship with the Highlanders in 1992, watching her nephews and grandsons play hockey, picking blueberries with her friends, and going to bingo with her sisters. She spent a lot of her time looking after her nephews and nieces who also took her as a mom. Her favourite shows were C.S.I and WWE Wrestling. Her favourite movie was Cinderella. Irene was passionate about her work, whatever it was, homecare, Medical Transportation, or janitorial; She will be missed at the health centre where she spent the majority of her work life.  She also loved going to round dances, sundances, and watching chuckwagons. She was a jokester that always had something to say to put a smile on someone’s face; although she was very stern and stubborn. Irene took so much pride in being a chapan, she loved her chapans so much. She was a loving grandmother, mother, sister, and friend. Irene was a wonderful woman with a big heart, and she cared for anyone that walked in the door. Irene will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
    She is predeceased by: her grandparents, Philip (Choochum) and Katie (Mama) Mitsuing; her parents, Emma Mitsuing and Louis Weenie; her stepfather, Moose; her sister, Valerie Mitsuing; her brother, Ralph Mitsuing; her best friends, Linda Cantell and Nancy Demarais. 
      Irene leaves to mourn: her siblings, Ray (Josephine), Joyce, Dorothy (Joe), Robert (Darlene), Leon (Shannon), Adrian, Elphy, and Neil, Elaine, Delphine and Lorelei Snakeskin, and Raylene Checkosis; her children, Tyrone/Fonz, Courtenay/Goose, Leslie/Leepoo, Gregory/Gigi, Carson/Mice (Janice) and Noel/Naps; her "George" Brad; her baby girl, Crazy B; her grandchildren, Ty, Emma (Preston), Harlan, Cruz, Lane, Theron, Meagan, Neyanna, Mercy, Honorah, Hemi, Mason, Zachariah, Sapphire, Aries, Terah, and Atticus; her chapans, Tazym, Minerva, and Emeryn; and her precious baby, Bernard Abraham Weenie “Bernie”.
