Obituary

Gord was born on February 3, 1960 in Cornerbrook, Nfld, to Francise and Roy Holley.  He left his homeland at the age of 17.  Later in life, he found a job in Lloydminster and settled there where he met the love of his life, Betty. Gord and Betty lived together for many years and helped raise their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Gord was known as 'Mosom Gord'.  He had no children but he and Betty both adopted Holly and raised her as their own.  Gord always said "you guys are my home", meaning Betty, her children and grandchildren, and his only wish was to be buried close to "mum" (Betty).
He is predeceased by:  his loving wife, Betty Ann Chief; his parents, Francise and Roy Holley; his brothers, Paul and Darrell Holley; and many other relatives.
Gord is survived by: his adopted daughter, Holly; his step-children, Carl (Jessica), Lucas, Mike, Melissa (Dominic), Burt (Felicia), Steven and Earl Chief; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives.
