Geraldine Linda Dorothy Lameman passed away suddenly on December 8, 2018. She was born in Lloydminster on July 10, 1947. She was the oldest daughter of Bella (nee Waskewitch) and Jerome Lameman. Geraldine was a wonderful mother, devoted kokom and chapan. She was very compassionate and loving. Geraldine raised her grandchildren and great grandchildren; each one held a special place in her heart. When Geraldine was feeling ill, no one knew. She always put others first. In June, 1994 she received her certificate in Home Care. She worked at the Health Center as a Home Care worker for 26 years before retiring. She was also on the Elders Council for two years. When you saw Geraldine, she always had a smile and hug for you. When she was in Residential school, among her friends they affectionately called her Cookie. If you ever asked her why they called her that, she would laugh. Only her closest friends knew why.
She leaves to mourn: her children, Deanna, Delores, Dallas (Amanda), Daniel (Deva), and Debra (Grant), her son-in-law, Alvin Jezowski; her adopted daughters, Dorothy (Noel) Cook, Val (Wayne) Tootoosis, and Priscilla Belly; her 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Elaine Sharp, Charlotte (Gale) Benson, Rose (Randy), Sherry (Clarence) Dillon, Gary Lameman, and Judy Lameman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by: her husband, Joe Stick; her parents, Jerome and Bella Lameman; her son, Delbert; her grandson, Danion; her brothers, Ernest and James; her sister, Gina; her nephew, Preston Benson; her nieces, Michele and Jacqueline Benson, and Kristy Dillon; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Sharp.
