George David Riguidel passed away peacefully on May 17, 2022 at approximately 3:30 a.m. at the Lloydminster Prairie North Hospital on the day of the total Lunar Eclipse. George was born on November 7, 1934 in St. Walburg, SK. He was a hard working man from a young age. George met Bertha at the school he attended where he brought pails of water for the classmates and school teachers everyday. On October 25, 1956, George and Bertha tied the knot and began their beautiful experience. They were blessed with five very gifted children-Laurie, Richard, Gordon, Linda and Gerald. George was a very hard working man with the soul essence of a warrior and he never gave up on any project or person despite the hardships that presented them. George was a master mechanic who had the skills to fix any broken piece of equipment and did so with speedy intent. He was the perfect description of a family man, hard working, protective, supportive, tough love sprinkled with an undeniable sense of humour. To George family was always a priority.
He was predeceased by: his wife, Bertha, who he cared for to the bittersweet end; his grandchild, Keely; his brother, Raymond; his sister, Lois; and his parents, Jane and Theodore.
