Garry Wayne Naistus was born in Paradise Hill on June 14, 1966, and was the 11th child born to Joe Allan Naistus and Rema (Chief) Naistus. He was raised in Onion Lake, SK. Garry was a man with a kind and caring heart. He loved his family and friends greatly, especially his nieces, nephews, chichums, and chapans. He treated them all as his own. Garry loved the Lord and would often talk to others about God. He enjoyed making others laugh whenever he could with his many jokes and stories. Garry always had a smile on his face. He was a humble man with a gentle soul. Garry would tell stories of the places he worked and visited and all the numerous people he had met. Garry would make friends everywhere he went and left a lasting impression. He made sure to make everyone feel at home and had a very generous soul. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Garry was a man of many talents, he was knowledgeable in pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, hydro vac, carpentry, mechanics, and welding. He liked to stay connected with family and friends through his phone and facebook. Garry was a beautiful, awesome brother, uncle, father-figure, and friend. We will all miss him...until we see him again. How beautiful Heaven must be with our loved ones up there.
Garry is predeceased by: his parents, Allan and Rema Naistus; his brothers, Herman Naistus, and James Naistus; his sister, Yvonne; the twins, Elizabeth, and Philip; his grandparents, Joseph Naistus, Mary Quinney, Jimmy Chief, and Amy Chief; his niece, Jarita Naistus; and his granddaughter, Brandi Naistus.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gordon (Adriene) Naistus, Martin (Bernice) Naistus, and Erwin Naistus; his sisters, Hilda Mountain, Linda Naistus, Leona (Willard) Amahoose, Doreen (Lynn) Speers, Wanda (George) Turner, Evelyn Naistus, and Patricia Naistus; and numerous nieces, nephews, and chichums.
