Ernest Paddy was a loving father, grandpa, brother, son, and friend. He was born on May 20, 1959 to Charlie and (late) Florence Paddy. He loved his children, and grandchildren very much and enjoyed his visits with them in Saskatoon. In his younger years, he played fastball with the TC Clippers, he played hockey and golf. Ernest attended school at North Battleford Comprehensive and played Jr. Hockey and later pursued his education at Weyburn Christian College. Ernest was a carpenter and worked with Housing Public Works. He delivered water until his passing.
He loved his children and he cherished all his grandchildren, they meant the world to him and he loved them all. He was a loving, caring man, and was known for his unique sense of humour. Whenever he was serious he meant business. He loved life and lived it to the fullest with his family and friends. He was kind and had a big heart, going out of his way to help. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was predeceased by: his mother, Florence Paddy; his brothers, Leonard Leo Paddy, and Wallace Paddy; his nephew, Tristen Paddy; his maternal grandparents, Dominic and Maria Alexan; his paternal grandparents, William Paddy, and Clara Fly; his uncles, Francis Paddy, Rennie Alexan, and Harry Alexan; his aunts, Georgina Paddy, Agnes Paddy, Mariah Watchmaker, Mary Louise Canepotatoe, Mary Maria Alexan, Josephine Mason, and Ida Alexan; his cousins, Jerry Alexan, Ernest Alexan, Wayne Scott, John Paddy, Myles Canepotatoe, Cecilia Rabbitskin, Marianne Cannepotatoe, Velma Isbister, Barbara Canepotatoe, Colleen "Kelli" Paddy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his children, Megan Snakeskin, Jessica (Wapass) Semaganis, Brittany, Zachary (Kenisha), and Cole Paddy; his grandchildren, Casey, Carlin, Cayden, Joaqin, Lachlin, Tristen, Isabella, Jillian, Merrick, Kyson; his father, Charlie Paddy; his siblings, Charles (Annie), Kelly (Giselle), Vivian (Wesley), and Phyllis (Danny); his aunties, Mary Jane Alexan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
