Elsie was born on January 13, 1943, to Jeremy and Catherine Cardinal, in Clearwater Lake, Alberta.
She leaves to mourn: her loving husband, Michael Harmatiuk; her children, Darlene (Clarence) Bodnariuk, and Darryl (Ruby) Whitstone, and Rhonda Yaskow; her grandchildren, Jamie (Brandy-Lynn), Colelan (Danielle), Tiffaney (Samson), Dallas, Nadine, Johnny (Faith), Darryl, Tyrese, Micheal, Kylie, and Joshua; her brothers, James Cardinal, and Terry (Judy) Cardinal; and her many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Elsie was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremy and Catherine Cardinal; Darryl and Darlene's father, Johnson Whitstone; her siblings, Lloyd Cardinal, Cora Whitford, Louis Cardinal, Henry Cardinal, Donald Cardinal, Ronald Cardinal, and Sandra Dominic.
