    Edith Paskimin was born on April 27, 1941 at Thunderchild First Nation to Alex Alexander and Helen Paskimin (Knife).
    She is predeceased by: her children,  Christopher and Virginia; her partners, Dave Pooyak, Joe Tootoosis and Henry Bear; her common law, David Baptiste; her brothers, Albert, Norman, Morris, Bernard, Myron and Anderson; her sisters, Mary Blackface, Maria Takakenew, Eliza, Emma, Martha and Ida; her biological father, Joseph Paskemin; and her chapans.
     Edith is survived by:  her children, Hilda (Peter) Brule, Stan (Donna) Paskimin, Esther (Herman) Peechow, Henry (Thelma) Paskimin, Paulette, Zoerb, Sharon (Tyler) Gladue-Paskimin, Davina (Brian) Fehr; her sister, Lillian Whitecalf; her numerous grandchildren and chapans; her extended family, Beverly, Myrtle, Marshall, Jerry, Eric, Nina, Delia Thunderchild, the Paskemin Family, the Standingwater Family, the Yellowbird Family, the Wapass Family, the Horse Family, and the Sunchild Family.
