Eddie was born in St. Anthony, Newfoundland to Robert and Selma Randell. They taught him the value of hard work and respect, which he carried, throughout his life. One of his favorite past times when visiting in Newfoundland, was being out on the water, fishing, boating and spending time with family. Other hobbies included working out in the yard and in his shed, he enjoyed doing wood working projects. Eddie was loved and accepted into the Pahtayken family and at family gatherings he learned how to play hand games and he also tried to speak Cree. He felt a great sense of pride when his grandkids called him “mosom”. Everyone who met Eddie, loved him as he showed respect and love to our community. Eddie was a prankster, you had to be on your toes, when he was around. Eddie was charismatic, he had such a great sense of humor, and he lived a humble and simple life.
Eddie is survived by; his wife, Sharon; his stepchildren, Wendell, Tahera, Tiniel, Lane; his grandbabies, Neveah, Wade and Adina; his parents, Robert & Selma; his sisters, Sharon (Grant), and Faye (Rich); his brothers Dion (Betty), and Brad (Deena); and numerous nieces and nephews.
