Dorothy Forbes Obituary

There will be a service for Dorothy at a later date.

Dorothy was predeceased by: her parents, David and Jemima Craig; her seven siblings; her husband, William Forbes; and her son, Raymond Forbes.

She is survived by: her daughter, Wanda (Ted) Harris, and their children, Shaun (Lauri), Brenda (Bob), and Carrie (Jaret); her son, Leonard (Linda) Forbes, and their children, Laurie (Mark), and Kevin (April); and Raymond's children, Billy Forbes, and Jodie Forbes; and her great grandchildren, Zachary (Chelsea), Riley, Brittany, Brandon, Joel, Maddison, Cheyanne, Cash, Harrison, Ava, Haley, Danielle, Taylin, Tennley, Harper, Samuel and Isiah.

Dorothy was born on July 9, 1926 to David and Jemima Craig, she was the youngest of eight children.  Dorothy attended Kilronan School.  Later she worked for Mrs. Rose Forbes where she met her future husband, William.  They were married on October 28, 1948 and resided on the Forbes family farm and raised their 3 children, Wanda, Leonard, and Raymond, there.  Dorothy always had a large garden, raised chickens, milked cows and always loved a game of cards with family and friends.  In 1997, they retired and moved to town where she resided until her passing.

God looked around his garden, And found an empty space.

He then looked down upon the earth, and saw my tired face.

He put his arms around me, and lifted me to rest.

                                              Love Mom
