Daryl Cantre Obituary

Daryl Lee Cantre (mistiko-napew) was born to William Weeseekase and Joyce Cantre on March 14, 1987.  Daryl was a loving father, husband, son, brother, friend, cousin and colleague.  Daryl was very compassionate and caring.  He always took good care of all his family and friends.  He gave his whole heart to his wife and children, whom he cherished, loved and had great pride for.  Daryl was born an outstanding athlete.  He started walking at the age of 7 months.  He won athletic awards every year at school, and he participated in all the summer and winter games, either in track and field, soccer, and hockey.  He also loved to golf.  Daryl's love for outdoor activities included hunting, boating, tubing, quading, skidooing and camping.  He did all of these things with his wife and children, his parents, siblings, family and friends.  He also liked to play poker.  Daryl was a hard-working man.  He took great pride in his home, always upgrading and renovating, providing comfort for his family.  he had started another project, fixing up his late grandpa's cabin.  Daryl was the patriarch of our family, the go-to person and the organizer.  He lived his life to the fullest and all the beautiful memories he created with his family and friends will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Daryl leaves to mourn: his mother, Joyce Cantre; his father, William Weeseekase; his loving wife of 19 years, Farideh Angus; his sons, Leegan, Clyde, and Daryl Jr.; his daughters, Baylee and Sequin; his sisters, Crystal, and Tonya Cantre; his brothers, Gavin (Misty) Cantre, Joel (Mavis) Kytwayhat, Robby (Kristie) Cantre, and Jordyn (Adrienna) Cantre; his grandma, Margaret Dumont; his grandpa, William (Betty) Peepeekoot; his special brothers, Richard Weasel, and Louie Mitsuing; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by: his maternal grandparents, Christine Cantre (May 1968), and Johnny Dubois (February 2012); his paternal grandparents, Harriet Weeseekase (August 2010), and Robert Hoff (August 2013); and his brother, Shane Cantre (July 2021).
