Obituary

Darin is loved as a son and brother from the Star/Favel family from Poundmaker and Turtle Lake. He will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews who loved his joyful spirit and kindness. Darin pursued many endeavours and interests and worked as a welder. He studied at both Grant McEwan and Blue Quills College. Darin was a loving, supportive and amazing person. He loved to socialize with friends, family and was full of laughter and jokes. Darin was an artist who engaged in many hobbies and artistic pursuits and loved to create. His spirit of joy, kindness, and storytelling will be missed. Darin you will always be in our hearts and we will cherish the memories that we have of you. 
 
Survived by 
Biological Mother, Rose Marie Bird; loving family Doug and Eliza Starr; Brothers, Lorne Bird, Jed Sangrey, Gilbert Thunderchild, and Louie Horse; Sisters, Leona Starr-Manoakeesick, Jackie Starr, Loretta Starr (Ivan), and Verna Thunderchild; Step-Sisters, Roselene Morin, Genevieve Horse; and many loving cousins and extended family. 

Predeceased By 
Grandparents, Philomine and Johnathan Starr; Father, Paul Starr; Aunt, Lily Favel; Cousins, Laverna Starr-Thunderchild, Raymond Thunderchild, and Carol MacDonald Thunderchild.
