Dan was born on February 20, 1932 on the Thunderchild Reserve to Philip Thunderchild and Ada Kwekwetapoa.  "Dan The Man" as what we all knew him bywas a quiet and humble man. 
As being the last remaining member from his family, he took over and parented his nieces and nephews and was the special Moshum to all the grandchildren.Dan was loved immensely by his family.Dan was an avid supporter to his nephews, nieces and grandchildren with their sports... you would see him up in the stands in the crowds cheering the youth on... Dan will be surely missed by everyone.
Dan was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Ada; his brothers, Pat Macdonald, Ivan MacDonald, John George MacDonald and Gordon Thunderchild;
his sister, Harriet Chocan; and his special niece,Muriel Thunderchild. 
Dan is survived by: his sister-in-law, Georgina Thunderchild; his nieces, Corinna, Shirleyann (Fred), Lorrinda (Adam), and Gail (Darius); his nephews, Marvin, Melvin (Tara), Merle, Leon, Lionel (Suzy) and Travis.and numerous other nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
