Charles William George passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021 at the age of 92 in the Care Home at Goodsoil, SK. Charles (Charlie) was born November 10, 1928 on a farm near Livelong, SK. Charlie married Ruby Kocay in 1957 and they resided at Spruce Lake, SK. In 1965, Charlie and family moved to Hudson Bay, SK., where Charlie worked in the bush until taking a job with MacMillan Bloedel in 1967. Charlie also worked for Simpson Timber Company and did various kinds of farming during his time there. In 1985, Charlie returned to the Spruce Lake area/St. Walburg, SK. He enjoyed his time there and spent many memorable times with his brothers and other family members fishing and hunting. Charlie enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler during these times. He enjoyed watching lots of hockey and ball games, especially if he knew someone playing or if it was a family member. He also enjoyed tinkering – even if it meant he needed to buy 3 or 4 broken ones to fix one good one of whatever it was he found at an auction sale. Charlie stayed strong until the very end, before passing away peacefully.
He is predeceased by: his mother and father; his brothers, Lawrence George (2009), and Allen George (2019).
Charlie is survived by: his five children, Kerry (Lolery) George, Bradley George, Shelley (Otto) Lupuliak, Lawrie (Roxanne) George, andTracy (Rod) Frank; his grandchildren, Philip George (Alexia Flores), Charlotte George, Macey George (Sam Rinella), Kristen Lupuliak (Ashley Haines), Karissa Lupuliak, Brigitte (Aaron) Herriges, Braxx George (Shaelyn Grassick), and Lindsey Frank; his great grandchildren, Jayden Lupuliak, Grayson Lupuliak, Averie Lupuliak, Aliannah Herriges, Loyer Herriges and Avery Ahpay; his siblings, Donna Hall, and Bertha (Ted) Otteson; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
