Beatrice Ruby (Fox) Quinney

Beatrice  was born in Paradise Hill, SK, to Gabriel Lewis and Mary Rose Fox.  She married Ron Quinney on December 4, 1976 and together they have 5 children, 16 grandchildren,1 great-grandchild and raised 4 more children.  Beatrice grew up in Onion Lake. In 1998 she started driving bus and  she had nicknames for some of the kids she would pick up on her route. She loved the little kids and greeted them with a hug and they always had hugs for mom.   Mom loved to go to pow wows, watching her sons grow up with their hockey, making crafts, and she also loved to sew and be creative with projects , and make ribbon skirts for family and friends. Beatrice also enjoyed watching chuck wagon races, rodeos, cleaning her yard, planting flowers, making sure her home was clean for visitors and always made sure her grandkids had toys to play with outside.  She loved to bake all kinds of things, with her special baking partner, Joe.  She liked shopping and would spend hours in Lloydminster taking her time to look around.  Mom celebrated every occasion and we would all get together.  Mom knew everyone's special birthdays and would make celebrations extra special for her grandchildren. She would have Easter egg hunts ready for the kids and made sure each holiday was special for all of them. She had many friends working in the cafe and she will be dearly missed.
     She is predeceased by:  her parents, Gabe Lewis and Mary Rose Fox; her sisters, Ernestine   Quinney, Florence   Dillon   and
Irene Skeenum; her brothers, Russell Fox and Melvin Montana ('baby boy').
      Beatrice leaves to mourn:  her loving husband, Ron Quinney; her children, Candace (Scott), Charlene (Randall), Blair (Jackie), P.J. (Sherisse), Janine (Vernon), Carissa, Cass-'her baby', Keyanna and Jeter; her sixteen grandchildren; her great-grandchild, Dawson; her brothers, Burton (Bernice), Ruben, Eric (Mary), Wesley (Stella), Leonard, Oliver and Wallace (Dolly); her sisters, Joan, Dorothy (Noel) and Gwen (Richard); and many nieces nephews and friends.
