Arlie Richard Jimmy was born on August 29, 1970, in St. Walburg, to Josephine Jimmy and Ernest Piche.
He enjoyed working with concrete. Arlie also enjoyed bannock and was a gifted bannock maker, even making bannock dogs, which the kids always enjoyed. Arlie was a good brother and kind-hearted, humble uncle to his nieces and nephews and their children. He was strict when he needed to be, though he didn't enjoy being told what to do himself. He liked to joke around and make people laugh. He had a love of 70's music, and old movies. Arlie enjoyed spending time with family when he was able to. He lived in Saskatoon, and moved to Wetaskiwin, eventually making Edmonton his home.
He is predeceased by: his father, Ernest Piche; his wife, Virginia; his grandparents, Katherine and Vital Jimmy; his uncles and aunts, George Jimmy, Marianne Kaye, Wallace Jimmy and Bernice Thunderchild; and his nephews, Barry Kaye and Joelle Nicotine.
Arlie leaves to mourn: his mother, Josephine Jimmy; his step-father, Larry Larochelle; his siblings, J. Ernie (Sandra) Jimmy, Charlene (Ted) Noon and Marcus (Victoria) Jimmy; his uncles and aunts, Burton (Anette) Jimmy, Patricia Letendre, Hariette Jimmy, Gilbert (Beatrice) Jimmy, Leona (Charles) Ryder, Esther (Travis) Wright, and Gabriel Chatsis; and numerous other relatives.
