Anthony Bernard Snakeskin

Anthony Bernard Snakeskin was born on December 25, 1940 to Paul and Mary Snakeskin.
     He is predeceased by: his loving wife, Georgina Paddy (Dec. 1999); his parents, Paul Snakeskin and Mary Whitecap; his brothers, David Snakeskin, Fancis Snakeskin and Jim Peesim; his sisters, Josephine Beaudry, Elizabeth Pooyak, and Edith Snakeskin; his nephew, Kenneth Pooyak; his son-in-law, Absolom Standingwater.
     Tony was born in Turtle Lake Reserve, he was the youngest of Mary and Paul Snakeskin.  He loved his family, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends was his favourite pastime.  Tony raised his grandson, Nathan Paddy, "Jim Bob"; his special granddaughter, Kisik; and his grandson, Riddick.  He loved all his grandchildren and chapans so much.  Tony worked with CN railway for many years, was a carpenterfor Thunderchild and also did Security for cultural camps and pow wows.  Tony was a cultrual man and always showed his support for cultural events.  He was a humble and quiet man, and loved watching sports, baseball, and hockey.
     He leaves to mourn: his daughters, Pamela (Warren) Horse, Veronica (Shayne) Nelson, Melinda (Leroy) Paddy, and Verna Paddy; his sons, Jessie Paddy and Nathan (Justice) Paddy); his brothers, Allan and Henry Snakeskin; his numerous nieces, and nephews in Sweetgrass, Hobbema, and Thunderchild reserves.
