Alvina was born in North Battleford SK and was raised in Thunderchild. She was known as "Peanuts" by many of her friends.
As a young girl she spent a lot of time with her grandparents Annie, Hilda, and William.
Alvina loved being with her grandchildren and Chapans. She raised three of her grandchildren, Tianna, Raylene and Keondre. She loved playing bingo, berry-picking and rounddancing. She also loved to laugh with friends and family. She attended church regularly with her friends Alvina and Fred Thunderchild and her best friend Pam Thunderchild. She had strong Faith as a Christian and also believed in traditional ways. She supported her family in ceremonies such as Sundances, Horsedances. etc. She worked many years in Thunderchild and Fort McMurray. She loved her family very much and she held her grandchildren and Chapans close to her heart.
Alvina is survived by her children Marilyn(Bernie),Terri(Randy),Terence(Michelle),Omar,Hilary, Arlen. She also raised her late sisters children Ula, Tyler,Justin. Her siblings Sheila(Edward), Ranger, Stu Brown(Donna),Dave(Nancy), adopted sister Rema Lewis. As well as her special grandchildren and Chapans.
She is predeceased by her parents Joseph Sr(1987), Emily(2001), Her grandparents Annie Wapass(1979),Hilda Sunchild(1979),William Badger(1977), 4 infant siblings, sister Betty Wapass(1991), Ernestine(1993), Bones(2007), Monika(2022), her son Harold Jr(1980), daughter Maxine (2002), her uncles and aunties Norman and Ina Sunchild, Madeline and Julius Okemow, Alice Wapass, Eliza and Simon Noon.
