Albert was born at Waterhen Lake, Sask on
January 8, 1934 to Pedro and Lydia Lasas. He moved to Loon Lake in the early 1950's and resided there until his passing.
Albert worked for the surrounding farmers in the Loon Lake area. He was an avid hunter and a trapper, until he began to lose his eye sight. He enjoyed being with his family and singing his traditional songs to them.
He will be sadly missed by his family and all those who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro and Lydia Lasas; brothers, Charles and Ronnie Lasas; sisters, Victoria, Sarah, and Margaret; daughters, Lillian; and grandchildren, Ryan, Alana, and Travis.
Albert is survived by: his son, Gary (Janet); daughters, Joyce and Veronica; his ex-wife, Susan Cantre; sisters, Eva, Kathy, and Edna (Charlie); 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
