Adrian Dean Morningchild was born on February 4, 1989, at the Meadow Lake Hospital to Arlina Morningchild and Donald (Donna) Lewis. He grew up in Mudie Lake and then moved to Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation where he resided until his passing. Adrian's interests were carpentry and cutting hair. Although he had no formal training he enjoyed cutting hair and cut hair for his bro's and friends and was really good at it. He worked as a carpenter during the spring and summer seasons for MSFN. He also worked as slasher for the company in Alberta called Dechen. Adrian had many friends that he enjoyed hanging out with. He had a great sense of humour and was always laughing with friends and family. He played games online with his brothers daily. Adrian left a deep impact within his family and has left a void that cannot be filled. His mom will always remember his voice calling out to her "mamma, mamma, mamma, mamma." He is sadly and deeply missed.
He is predeceased by: his grandma, Clara Lewis (2010); and his brother, Lincoln Crookedneck (1994).
Adrian leaves to mourn: his mother, Arlina Morningchild; his dad, Donald (Donna) Lewis; his brothers, Morris Jr. (Dean) Crookedneck, Morgan Crookedneck, Quaylen Crookedneck, Brennan Wahpenahwasis, Parker (Halli) Crookedneck, Trayton Cheenanow, Terrance Mitsuing, Gerald Mitsuing, and Troy Lewis; his sisters, Stephanie (Jesse) Morningchild, Racquel Trudy and Ashley Sundown, Janyke Crookedneck, and Nicole Oseemeemow; his God-children, Chanayah Anne Lewis, Trey Lincoln Wahpenahwasis; and his lil nigga, Sarai Campbell.
