Roderick was born on November 4, 1941 in Onion Lake. He grew up in Onion Lake where he farmed and trained horses. He was a hard working man his entire life and always provided for this family. Roderick had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Roderick moved to the Pioneer Lodge where he resided until his passing and loved playing pool with the residents. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by: his mother, Mary Mountain; his brothers, Ross and Wilson; his grandson, Wyatt George Wolfe (2009); and numerous other relatives.
Roderick is survived by: his wife, Philomene Mountain; his children, Eleanore (Tony) Sunchild, Rick (Samantha) Mountain, April (Kyle) Mountain, Tammy Mountain, Clifford McAdam; Ernest McAdam, Marlys Stanley, Elaine McAdam, and Carmella (Eldon) Stanley; his 25 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
