Millie Evelyn Frisk (Anderson) was born on the family farm to Muriel and Vic Anderson. She was the second of three children, making Violet a big sister on Sunday, November 11, 1923. Three years later she herself became a big sister to Lila.
Growing up on the farm, her life was filled with chores. One in particular was putting up hay with her father in Rabbit Lake with a wagon and a team of horses. This time spent gave her a love for animals and the outdoors especially the towering spruce that made up the woods around the lake.
Country dances and gatherings provided gaiety and at one such dance she met her future husband, Ed Frisk. Millie and Ed married on July 15, 1947. They soon became a family as they welcomed their daughter, Ingrid, in 1948 and their son, Barry, in 1951.
Millie enjoyed listening to hockey games on the radio, she was a master at jigsaw puzzles, she raised wonderful gardens and was an excellent cook and baker.
She was predeceased by: her husband, Olov Edvin (Ed) Frisk; her parents, Vic and Muriel Anderson; her sisters, Violet Broten and Lila Senkin; her brothers-in-law, Raymond Broten, Bill Senkin and Bertil Frisk; her sister-in-law, Berta Frisk; and her nephew, Marvin Broten.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Ingrid (Peter) Krawchuk; her son, Barry (Cheryl) Frisk; her granddaughter, Kristine (Kerry) Bruce; and one great-granddaughter, Teegan Bruce; and nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
