Maria Ada Watchmaker

      Isaiah 42:6:    I will take your hand and keep you.We trust God did just that. At 93 years of age, Maria Ada Watchmaker entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Though we are saddened by our loss, we mourn but differently. Our mourning is wrapped in the hope of eternal life. Her eternal life began when she responded to the gift of God who gave his only  Son Jesus Christ who laid down His life for her. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see, for by it the people of old received their commendation. We are here today to celebrate with our mom, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who obtained a good testimony because she believed in the things not seen and she had been looking forward to her eternal home prepared by The Lord Himself according to John 14:2. Her favorite bible (Cree syllabic’s) was constantly on her bedside as she read the Word of God and remained in prayer for her family. Our lives will never be the same without her. She has blessed and impacted our lives with the gospel and her faith.  Her hospitality and warmth and love will be missed but the memories she leaves behind will continually bring us joy to have been in the presence of a woman used by God.
We all want to say “We Love and thank you Mom, grandma” for everything you have given to us during your time here.
     She is predeceased by:  her common  law, Maurice Kiseyinewakup; her parents, William Paddy and Clara Fly; her sister, Agnes Paddy; her brother, Francis Paddy; her son, John Paddy; her grandsons, Lionel Paddy, Ryan Gladue and Darren Ben; her granddaughter, Tia Bearboy; and Ministikwan Elders.
     She leaves to carry her legacy through:  her loving brother, Charlie Paddy; her children;   Elizabeth Watchmaker, Arthur Watchmaker, Joyce Watchmaker, Erna (Ken) Mitsuing, Sharon Gladue and Sharmain Watchmaker.
