Leo Charles Hoffman was born on July 15, 1953 in Paradise Hill to Charles and Mary Hoffman. Leo is the youngest of 6 children. He was raised on the family farm south east of St. Walburg and attended St. Walburg School until grade 8. After leaving the farm he went to school at Lennox Service School to achieve his certificate for heating and air conditioning in 1976 and 1977. Leo married Blanche in 1976 and they had two sons, Tyson (1979) and Kelsey (1980). They lived in Lloydminster for many years while Leo worked for Bob Jacks as a repair man. Leo then moved back to his family farm where he opened his own furnace repair and pawn shop and, of course, as a hobby farmer. Leo has a great passion for working the land, chasing the cows and tinkering on anything he could find that needed work. He had many friends over the years, and everyone will tell you how you could never have just a 10 minute conversation with him. Everything ended with a coffee at the table no matter the time of day. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Leo leaves behind: his sisters, Katherine (Eugene) Beauvillier, Margaret Cydejko, and Helen (Ted) Jenkins; his brother, Nick (Margaret) Hoffman; his two sons, Tyson and Kelsey Villeneuve; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Leo was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Charles; his sister, Josie Bielecki; his nephews, Ted Bielecki and Gordon Bielecki; his brothers-in-law, Peter Bielecki, Peter Cydejko, and Hervey Theberge.
