Johnny was born Aug 31, 1939, near the family farm in the Butte St. Pierre district, to Telesphore & Agnes Guy. He took his schooling at St. Albert, Pyramid Hill and St. John's College in Edmonton. He received his Journeyman Automotive Technician Certificate in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon. Johnny worked as a mechanic at Novlan Bros Sales Paradise Hill from 1957 to 1964. From 1964 to 1972 he worked for Western Geophysical in Alberta and NWT. In July of 1972 he came back home and became manager of Novlan Bros Sales in St. Walburg, and worked there until the shop closed in 1997. Then operated his own shop Northwest Service until retirement. Over the years he has enjoyed watching hockey, baseball and chuck wagon racing and his love of gardening. He was a master of square balers, carburetors, timing & gardening. In the later years he enjoyed having coffee with his friends.
Since mid 2000's he has called the St. Walburg Health Complex Home, and has had excellent care until his passing.
Johnny leaves to mourn: his only surviving sister, Jeanette. His sons Marty, Monty & Mark. His grandchildren Logan, Nicholas, Shelby & London.
The Service for Johnny will be held in the spring at Butte St. Pierre Cemetery.
