Jeannine Luciene (Colliou) Marchadour

   Jeannine Luciene Marchadour was born to Elie and Henriette Colliou on February 20th, 1933 on the family farm. At the age of 14, she started working for families in the area by house cleaning, cooking and caring for their children. Her last job before she got married was working for Mary Savorn in her cafe in Paradise Hill.  Jeannine loved baking bread, knitting, solitaire, quilting and word searches.  On October 29th, 1952 she married Lucien Marchadour her loving husband of 56 years. Lucien and Jeannine first lived on NE 14-51-24W3 where they farmed and raised 5 children. In 1966 they moved to SW 30-51-23W3. Jeannine and Lucien farmed there until they moved to Paradise Hill in 2007. In 2016 Jeannine moved into the Paradise Hill Care home where she resided until her passing.
She is predeceased by: her loving husband, Lucien Marchadour; her parents, Elie and Henriette Colliou; her brothers, Edmond (Helen) Colliou, John (Isabelle) Colliou, Roland Colliou, Leo (Faye) Colliou and Edgar Colliou; her sisters, Eleonore Herman and Leona Colliou; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Corentin and Anna Marchadour; her brothers-in-law; Pierre Marchadour, and Andrew Marchadour;  her sister-in-law, Simone Marchadour; her nephews, Ron Colliou and Julian Moore; her nieces, Joyce Clayton and Roxanne Desmarais.
      Jeannine leaves to mourn her passing; her children, Charles (Louise), Angeline (Dennis) Weinhandl, Jerry (Gilberte), Denis (Donna) and Michelle (Benz) Werren; her grandchildren, Melissa Marchadour, Ashley (Brad) Simons, Evan Marchadour, Aaron Marchadour, Shannon (Corey) McLean, Marty Weinhandl, Crystal (Cameron) Schaan, Jeff (Robin) Marchadour, Jason Marchadour, Casey (Shaun) Morton, Mitch Marchadour, Lexi Marchadour and Jessica Werren; her great-grandchildren, Jared and Morgan McKenzie, Colton and Keegan McLean, Declan and Austin Weinhandl, Ava, Rachel and Daegan Schaan, Brooklyn and Jake Marchadour, and Mason Morton; her sister, Julliette (Lawrence) Desmarais; her sister-in-law, Denise Colliou; and numerous nieces and nephews.
