Isadore Moore was born on June 20, 1930 in the Butte St. Pierre District. He was the second son of Albert and Mary (Gervais) Moore.
Isadore was raised in the Loon River District. In 1952 he married Phyllis Olson of Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.
They settled on top of the Loon River Hill where they farmed until they moved to Meadow Lake in 1974 to run the Stampede Hotel. In 1978 he started to work for the Town of Meadow Lake and worked there until his retirement in 1995.
Isadore enjoyed his family and friends, not a day would go by without a phone call to each of his children.
He was predeceased by: his son, Leslie on January 26, 1955; his father, Albert in 1961; his mother, Mary in 1974; his brothers, Donald (Cheeky) in 1986, Earl in 2003 and Vern in 2004.
Isadore leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife, Phyllis; his eight children, Wayne (Carol), Lorraine (Bruce) Coverchuk, Janet (Walter) Selinger, Karen (Garfield) Morin, Robert (Tammy), Brent (Connie), Carol (Garry) Bourassa and Valerie (Michael) Bell; twenty-two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; his sister, Dolly (Dennis) Bodoano of Edmonton; and his nieces and nephews.
