Glenn Waskewitch Obituary

Glen was born on February 17, 1964 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan to Late Albert and Marjorie Waskewitch, he was the oldest of 7 children. He completed his Grade 12 Education in 1983, where he met his first love and high school sweetheart, Doreen. He was then employed with Onion Lake Education for 24 years and then went onto work with Beretta for 4 years. Glen really enjoyed his work places but was always taking on new challenges. Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman. He gladly taught many of the youth the traditional way of life, and he was a mentor for the many youth and adults. He began Youth and Family outings as well as camps. The first of many was at “Camp Mahna” 1983 in Bronson Lake, as well as the famous “Rabbit Hunt” of 12 years, and The Family Moose Hunt for 5 years. He was always joking, full of laughter, and made sure everyone around him laughed as well. Many of the kids knew that Mosom/Uncle/Chapan Glen would always have a mint candy for them.
Glen was predeceased by: his father, Albert Waskewitch; his father-in-law, Pat Dillon; his mother-in-law, Priscilla Dillon; his maternal grandfather, Philip Whitstone; his maternal grandmother, Mary Whitstone; his paternal grandfather, Augustaun Waskewitch; his paternal grandmother, Maria Waskewitch (Mama); his late sister, Beverly Waskewitch; his brothers, Fabian, Stanley and Jamie Stanley; his uncles, J.B Whitstone, Elmer Whitstone, Charlie Whitstone, Henry (Spike) Whitstone, Raymond Whitstone, and Carey Waskwitch; and his aunties, Linda Chief, Madeline Waskewitch, and Edna MacDonald.
